Supply Manager at Mezovest Limited

JOB OVERVIEW

A supply manager manages the supply and purchase of LPG gas to meet client needs. The supply department is within the Operations Department.  As a Supply manager, you’ll be required to collaborate with other departments, such as the Business Development and Finance Department, to enable seamless and smooth operation within and externally.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan,supervise and coordinate the day-to-day delivery of all client orders on the mainland,ensuring alldeliveries are completely before 7pm.
• Ensure the dispatch team members set out 8:30am to commence filling at the plant and start supply/delivery toclients.
• Ensure LPG gas is made available at all times for delivery to clients. Sufficient bottles are made available forfilling at Oniru through the gas dispenser or at plants during purchase.
• Supervise and oversee the filling at Plants,submit payment receipts and ensure proper reconciliation with theaccount department.Provide receipt of gas purchased at the plant, for fuel purchased by drivers etc..andsubmit to the account manager
• Maintain required quantity of supplies of LPG placed on the ordered sheet by BDMs for theirvendors/restaurants,monitor delivery of LPG ordered and ensure the dispatch team weigh all supplies at pointof delivery to clients (vendors/restaurants).
• Ensure vendors sign the appropriate sheet for every order delivered with the precise quantity stated andinvoices are issued and signed by restaurant for every order delivered with the precise quantity stated.
• Provide and submit all signed invoices of clients to BDMs and exhausted booklet should be submitted to theaccount department.
• Laise with BDMs to ensure smooth delivery of LPG to the clients e.g getting accurate address,descriptionetc...
• Coordinate and supervise the timely pickup of empty cylinders from Clients,to facilitate proper planning fordaily/weekly filling.
• Ensure regular provision of gas in the composite cylinders at all Mdcs on the mainland.
• Keep up to date track record of Metl cylinders used for supply and ensure up-to date record are imputed on allnecessary supply sheets.
• Communicate and provide timely update for the BDMs on the appropriate general platform on the status ofevery order for all clients
• Escalate issues to the HR/Supervisor supply manager in respect to the performance and welfare of thedispatch team.Communicate weekly absenteeism with the HR department of dispatch team member.
• Escalate issues in respect to operation when they arise to the supervisor supply manager and operationhead/relationship director.
• Compile datas,prepare and submit weekly/monthly/annual report to s the supervisor supply manager andoperation head/relationship director on all necessary reports.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS 

• 3 years of work experience in the field or similar.
• Must be a graduate (BSc or HND).
• Receiving and inspection skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Inventory  stock management skill.
• Good interpersonal skill.
• Good multitasking skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the function and department process.

SALARY RANGE: ₦150,000.00- ₦170,000.00 per month.
