    Supervisor-Purchasing

    Job Description

    • Prepare the presentations of the dishes and trays for the banquets. Prepare cold dishes. Operate ovens, kitchens, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare dishes. Prepare ingredients for cooking, for example, divide food into portions, chop and store before use. Prepare and cook food. Weigh, measure and mix the ingredients. Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Monitor the quality of food while preparing food and throughout the day. Test the dishes to determine if they have been cooked enough. Guarantee the quality of food and notify the manager in the event that there is a product that does not meet the specifications. Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment.Establish and divide jobs. Check and make sure the temperature of the appliances and food is correct.
    • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Make sure that both the uniform and the personal appearance are neat and professional. Maintain the privacy of company-owned information; protect your assets. Support all coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support the team to achieve common goals. Meet expectations and quality assurance standards. Move, lift, transport, push, drag and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds (22.50 Kg) or their equivalent without assistance. Stand up,sit or walk for long periods or during the entire work shift. Visually read and verify information in various formats (eg small letters). Grab, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination. Move through narrow, confined or elevated spaces.     DESIRABLE APTITUES

    • Education: Secondary school title or equivalent certificate of a General Education Development program (General Educational Development, GED).
    • Related work experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
    • Experience as a supervisor: At least 1 year of experience as a supervisor.
    • License or certification: None
