    Substantive Registrar

    Description

    • The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and the Head of the Registry and is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of the University.

    The Person

    • The person must have vast knowledge of University administration and be transparent and resourceful.
    • The candidate must be in good health and able to endure the rigours which the duties entail.
    • Such a person must possess the ability to advise the Vice-Chancellor in the planning and execution of strategies.

    Qualifications

    • Applicants should possess a good University degree.
    • Experience: The applicant must be of the rank of Deputy Registrar and have a minimum of fifteen (15) years cognate experience nine (9) years of which must have been spent in a recognized University.
    • Exposure in administrative practice in an accredited Nigerian University will be an added advantage.

    Tenure and Conditions of Service

    • The successful candidate will hold office for a period of five (5) years which may be renewed for another term of five years.
