    Student Engagement and Success Specialist

    The selected applicant will be responsible for all the following:

    • Manage engagement programs and activities to deliver experiences that support student success and satisfaction;
    • Make decisions that advocate for and initiate improvements to the student experience; streamline processes and develop efficiencies;
    • Develop a supportive and trusting relationship with students
    • Utilize active listening, motivational interviewing, and empathetic, non-judgmental conversation to deeply engage with and learn about students
    • Monitor student training progress, attendance, and behavior and provide personalized interventions as needed to keep the student enrolled in the training and on-track for graduation
    • Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit monthly student activity logs and required documentation
    • Monitor student progress in order to intervene, guide, and recommend solutions to training difficulties
    • Ensures successful onboarding of new students
    • Conducts reminder calls to new students regarding date, time and access information for new student orientation.

    Requirements:

    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Well-developed organizational skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Great verbal and written communication skills.
    • Passion for working with and helping international students
    • Proven work experience as a Student Engagement and Success Specialist
    • Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    • Teamwork skills.
    • Minimum of one year of customer service work experience
    • Demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity
    • A degree in Management or a relevant field.

    Salary:

    Between 80,000 -100,000 monthly basic
