Structural Engineer at Engineering Automation Technology Limited (EATECH)

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop structural designs for various structures and facilities such as buildings, platforms, and pipelines, and ensure that they are safe and compliant with industry codes and regulations.
• Create detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using relevant software and considering industry standards and regulations.
• Perform structural analysis to ensure components can withstand environmental factors (e.g., wind, waves, seismic activity) and operational loads.
• Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies for proposed structural designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., API standards, ASCE codes).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, geotechnical engineers, and project managers, to integrate structural requirements into overall project plans.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, calculations, and technical documentation detailing structural analyses, design rationale, and recommendations, and communicate findings, project updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, exploring innovative materials, construction methods, and technologies to enhance structural efficiency and performance
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Stay current with industry trends and standards to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Proficiency in engineering software for design and analysis (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, Prota Structure)
• Strong Mathematical skills, knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• At least 5 Years of working experience as a structural engineering
• Proven experience as a structural Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and quality control procedures.
• Certification in Project Management and Quality Control or Quality assurance is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
