Storekeeper at Design Union

Job Summary

• Receive procured merchandise, mark it appropriately for placement in the facility, and deliver them to the appropriate department.
• In charge of storing food, beverage, and stock for designated warehouse.
• Perform a daily check on the storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene.
• Perform inspection on deliveries to confirm quality, cleanliness, and freshness, and consistency throughout case lots.
• Follow food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas.
• Oversees the sanitation of all refrigerators and freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains in storage areas.
• Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards.

Requisite Qualifications / Experience

• OND / Diploma in Accounting or any relevant course of study
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the hospitality or similar industry

Required Skills / Attributes:

• Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.
• Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
• Must have warehousing organization skills
• Ability to arrange stocks and code it in accordance with Sage software.
