Storekeeper Job Summary

The ideal candidate must be a professional and customer service-oriented storekeeper. He is to oversee daily operations at our store, implement the operational and organizational standards of the store, manage stock by keeping a record of inventory, sales and ordering the required replacement items.

The ideal candidate must be well organized, experienced storekeeper, responsible for all stock management, and planning promotional campaigns for the items in the store.

Brief Description of Nature of Business

An indigenous brand support company based in Ikeja Lagos that has been delivering world class quality service in the area of visibility, merchandising and gift items for over 10 years.

Job Responsibilities:

• Undertake store administration duties such as managing store
• Monitor inventory levels and track new orders
• Keep a record of sales and restock as it happens
• Prepare detailed reports on buying trends and customer requirements
• Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays
• Set up equipment or show clients how to use the branded merchandise supplied
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and business practices
• Assist the sales team to meet sales objectives by assisting with all sales and marketing procedures
• Come up with business strategies to attract new customers and expand store traffic
• Work with the team of professionals in pushing new products or specials to the market
• Work closely with the logistic officer
• Ensure that the store is kept clean and organized

Key Attributes/Qualifications of Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in StoreKepping
• Experience in Sales and Marketing in the area of Merchandising and branding or FMCG would be an advantage
• Very good spoken and written communication
• Amiable personality
• Good computer and reporting skills
• Pleasant personality, smart, intelligent with an eye for details
• Must be organized and punctual
