Store Supervisor at Lighthouse Electronics Limited

Lighthouse Electronics Limited is an electronics and furniture supermart who is in need of a store supervisor who lives around Ikeja axis and has worked in an electronics store before and thus familiar with the storekeeping procecess, whose primary responsibilities would include but not limited to the following:

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
• Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
• Responsible for the day-to-day check on the storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene.
• Responsible to verify all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received.
• Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
• Ensure cleanliness of all storage areas and showroom
• Ensure there is a purchase order for all store requisitions are signed by the DSM and approved by MD in accordance to the company’s procedure.
• Conduct monthly physical stock audits and the physical count should be reconciled with the inventory count from the ERP.
• Daily update of the inventory management software/system on all incoming and outgoing goods.
• Troubleshoot any vendor delivery issues and oversee/follow up on the return process.
• Follow up on documentation of after-sales issues ensuring it is in accordance with established internal controls and procedures.
• Identify and report any slow-moving items to avoid over purchasing.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the management or supervisors.
• Supervise all the functions of the store attendants.

• Have a good eye for detail.
• Familiar with Materials Management system (MMS). Able to work with MS Office suite.
• Must have basic computer skills for the day to day operation.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Management/Finance or related business discipline.
• Willingness to learn about new items and procedures quickly
