To receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders; reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.
Complete supply requisitions; assists buyer in ordering adequate material and supplies; delivers orders.
Generate reports on inventory status, usage trends, and stock movement.
Ensure the stores are properly arranged and in good condition using FIFO/LIFO strategies.
Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Assist with other warehouse tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirement
A minimum of Ordinary National Diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Storekeeper, or similar role.
Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Team player with the ability to work independently.
