Job Overview

• The Store Manager would be responsible for overseeing the overall operations, performance, and profitability of the supermarket. This role ensures efficient store management, excellent customer service, optimal inventory control, and strong team leadership to drive sales and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth workflow across all departments
• Lead, supervise, and manage store staff, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and discipline
• Drive sales growth and ensure achievement of revenue and profitability targets
• Monitor and analyze sales reports, KPIs, and store performance metrics
• Ensure proper inventory management, stock control, and timely replenishment
• Minimize stock losses, shrinkage, and wastage
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and retail standards
• Maintain high standards of merchandising, product display, and store cleanliness
• Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate deliveries
• Prepare periodic operational and financial reports for management

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, or related field
• Minimum of 4–6 years’ experience in retail/supermarket operations
• At least 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership role
• Strong understanding of retail operations, sales management, and inventory control
