The Stock Audit Specialist is responsible for conducting regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. This role involves identifying discrepancies, implementing control measures, and providing recommendations to enhance inventory management processes. Stock Audit Specialist executes assurance and internal stock audit, including developing internal audit scope, performing internal audit procedures, and preparing internal audit reports reflecting results of work performed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. HND / OND are also considered and an MBA / MSC will be an added advantage
• 9+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in inventory
• Proven work experience as Inventory counting, Stock Controller, Inventory Manager, or similar role
• Demonstrable understanding & application of internal control concepts to plan, perform, manage, and report evaluations of various business processes.
• Good use of Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as experience with retail management software.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
