SPAC Management Support Team at Sydani Group

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the LGA surveillance teams on VPD surveillance and reporting
• Facilitate training and progress meetings to address challenges and provide recommendations.
• Supervise surveillance activities at health facilities and communities in one of six LGAs: Lapia, Gbako, Munya, Mashegu, Tafa, or Piakoro.
• Support Health Facility Surveillance Focal Persons (SFPs) in detecting and reporting suspected vaccine-preventable disease cases.
• Address challenges and issues that may arise during the conduct of surveillance activities in the LGA
• Ensure timely data collection, validation, and reporting to the LGA Disease Surveillance Notification Officer (DSNO).
• Collaborate with local health authorities and laboratories to facilitate case investigations and outbreak response.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between LGA and state surveillance teams and other stakeholders  
• Provide regular reports and feedback to the state surveillance team and other stakeholders on VPD surveillance activities
