Sonologist / Sonographer (Festac) at Clinix Healthcare Nigeria

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and reliable Sonologist/Sonographer to join our Festac team on a part-time basis (Sundays only).
• The ideal candidate will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations and contribute to accurate diagnostics and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of ultrasound examinations (abdominal, obstetric, pelvic, soft tissue, and other relevant scans).
• Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, and clear communication during procedures.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Capture high-quality images and provide preliminary findings as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere strictly to infection control, patient safety, and confidentiality protocols.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support timely and accurate diagnosis.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and report any technical issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Radiography, Medical Imaging, Ultrasonography, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Valid practicing license/registration with the relevant professional regulatory body in Nigeria (e.g., RRBN).
• Previous experience as a Sonologist/Sonographer in a diagnostic center or hospital is preferred.
