About Our Client:

Role Summary:

As a Sonographer you will specialize in performing ultrasound examinations to produce images of patients’ internal organs, tissues, and blood flow for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations to visualize and evaluate internal organs, tissues, and blood flow patterns.
• Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures and explain the process to them to ensure their comfort and cooperation.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to obtain high-quality images while adhering to safety protocols.
• Interpret ultrasound images and provide preliminary findings to radiologists and other healthcare providers for further evaluation and diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate records of ultrasound examinations, patient demographics, and image documentation.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and follow-up as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from a recognized accrediting body.
• Valid license to practice as a sonographer in Nigeria.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and software.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
