Job Summary

• The Sonographer will perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
• The successful candidate will work closely with our medical team to ensure accurate and timely imaging services, contributing to the overall patient care experience at RHV.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Interpret ultrasound results and provide preliminary reports to physicians.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients about the ultrasound procedure and address any concerns or questions.
• Adhere to established safety protocols and infection control measures.
• Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Medical Sonography or Radiography from a recognized institution.
• Current registration and licensure with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sonographer in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular imaging.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
