Solvent Extraction Plant Operator at Golden Oil Industries Limited

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Solvent Extraction Plant Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the extraction of oils or other compounds from various materials using solvents. Your primary goal will be to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the solvent extraction process according to company procedures and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor equipment such as extractors, distillation units, pumps, and filtration systems.
• Control and adjust machine settings to optimize extraction processes and achieve desired yields.
• Load raw materials into processing equipment and ensure proper feed rates.
• Monitor and regulate temperature, pressure, flow rates, and other process variables.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform quality control checks on extracted products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, including production data, process parameters, and equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and support staff.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a plant operator or similar role, preferably in a solvent extraction or chemical processing environment.
• Knowledge of solvent extraction processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in a standing position for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
