Solutions Development Manager at Fieldbase Services Limited

What You’ll Do

Lead Product Innovation & Development

• Drive end-to-end product development across maritime and enterprise business units.
• Cut down time from idea to MVP while ensuring commercial viability and technical robustness.
• Establish and enforce best-practice frameworks for solutions development, software engineering, and R&D.
• Lead improvement and optimisation of existing Fieldbase apps and tools.

Build and Strengthen the Solutions Team

• Mentor full-stack developers, frontend engineers, and UX/UI designers.
• Build a high-performing team culture where quality, speed, and scientific thinking are non-negotiable.
• Create structured systems, documentation, and development methodologies.

Collaborate Across the Business

• Work closely with Business Development to communicate existing products and identify new solution opportunities.
• Partner with internal teams to build tools that improve internal workflows or become customer-facing solutions.
• Run R&D initiatives that keep Fieldbase ahead of the curve.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager or Solutions Lead with successful product launches.
• Strong technical background — ability to write code, understand hardware/software interactions, and lead engineers credibly.
• Experience designing and implementing systems, processes, and frameworks for solution development teams.
• Deep curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm for building commercially viable solutions.
