Solution Architect (Telecom BSS) at Tecnotree Corporation

Job Description:

• Analyze, interpret and translate clients’ business needs into rigorous Business and System Requirements documents for strategic business project.
• Manage and participate in the capture and definition of all stakeholder requirements and agreement on their prioritization
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders, provide leadership to determine and define the appropriate Solution Architecture and Design
• Lead, Consult and communicate with required team members involved in the delivery of program to ensure alignment with the agreed works program & Blueprint
• Actively participate in the requirements analysis, process definition, solution architect & design and development, reviews (internal & external) and presentation
• Lead business and technology solution architecture and design for Telecom Business Support System (BSS) i.e. CRM, Billing, Order Management and Enterprise Product Catalogue domains
• Lead, Consult and communicate with Business units in the evolution of business/knowledge processes and supporting infrastructures
• Leverage telecom, media domain and Telecom products knowledge to develop an optimal solution and leverage/exploiting OOTB capability
• Act as liaison and representative of Solution Delivery as Domain Specialist and liaise with business and technology community for IT/ Business initiatives phases, to ensure that the solution meets the defined needs of the busines objectives
• Thorough understanding of Telecom business processes and latest industry trends.
• Extensive experience in dealing with highly technical issues and demonstrated ability to draft effective solutions to business problems / opportunities.
• Good understanding of the Technology platform and ability to visualize the solution to address the business needs appropriately.
• Should have excellent analytical, documentation and presentation skill.
• Manage presentations and demonstrations of system/ solution to the customer.
• Interacting with various business stakeholders, conducting meetings and presentations to discuss/capture requirements, ideas and findings and documenting and communicating the outcomes
• Create and maintain the solution architecture roadmap across all Epics and produce architecture blueprints for each release iteration.
• Review business requirements and collaborate with development teams to identify system impacts and estimates.
• Conduct and represent in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions as necessary during the design and integration phases.
• Follow through architecture issues and integration challenges that arise throughout the software development life cycle and provide resolution.
• Collaborate and drive alignment with key business stakeholders, solution development and testing teams on architecture approach and direction.
• Co-ordinate with PM’s, infrastructure/operations team, testing teams and release/change control teams as needed
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Able to take up increasing levels of responsibility
• Work on aggressive timelines
• Willing for international travel on a long / short term basis.
• Must be a SME within Telecom BSS domain
• Proven implementation experience with at least 2 large Telecom BSS rollouts in the Telecom Wireless industry
• In depth understanding of fixed, mobile and convergence domains and related markets
• In-depth understanding of various CRM, Billing, Order Management and Product Catalogue COTs products
• Exposure and knowledge on TMForum eTOM, TAM and SID models specifically around Customer and Product domain
• Defining software enterprise architecture
• Using enterprise application design patterns
• Demonstrating ability to create systems architecture and solution design given a brief product requirement
• Designing new features to meet new business requirements
• Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Middleware oriented management, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
• Software technologies (.NET, J2EE, Mobility)
• Enterprise Architecture tools (Visio, IBM Rational Software Architect, etc.)
• Workflow and business process management
• System integration lifecycle for a full stack BSS and/or OSS implementation
• Familiarity with Agile software development processes – knowledge of scaled agile framework is preferred
• Ability to work in a multi-vendor environment.
