Solar Technical Sales Engineer at TeamAce Limited

• As the Solar Technical Sales Engineer, you will assess customer energy needs, design suitable solar and battery solutions, prepare technical proposals, and support customers throughout the sales and project handover process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct energy assessments, load calculations, and audits for residential, commercial, and industrial customers and recommend suitable solar PV, inverter, battery, hybrid, or grid-tied solutions
• Prepare system designs, technical proposals, quotations, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs), while providing technical support during project implementation
• Engage prospective customers, understand their energy needs, present solutions, convert enquiries into sales opportunities, follow up on quotations, and coordinate project handovers
• Manage customer enquiries across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp Business, website, and email, providing basic technical guidance and escalating complex issues when required
• Track online leads, customer interactions, and sales activities while maintaining prompt responses, professional communication, strong customer satisfaction, and effective customer retention

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years experience in solar sales, technical sales, renewable energy, or energy systems design
• Strong knowledge of solar PV, battery energy storage, power backup systems, load assessment, and system sizing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with knowledge of electrical distribution and energy efficiency principles
• Excellent communication, presentation, customer service, negotiation, follow-up, relationship management, and problem-solving skills
