    Solar Operations & Maintenance Engineer

    Location: Ogere, Ogun State

    Requirements

    • Daily Operations: Supervise and coordinate daily activities, including monitoring performance metrics, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
    • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment, including scheduling preventive maintenance and coordinating corrective maintenance activities.
    • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyses performance data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to optimize energy production and efficiency.
    • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on O&M activities, performance metrics, and budgetary matters for management and stakeholders.
    • Health and Safety: Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all personnel, including conducting regular safety audits and training programs.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/ Mechatronics or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Electrical Engineering field, preferably in the solar energy industry.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
    • Knowledge of solar PV systems
    • Familiarity with SCADA systems and monitoring software.
    • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Self-disciplined and result oriented.
