Software Engineer at Amy Consulting

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications remotely
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers using remote tools
• Participate in virtual code reviews and sprint planning sessions
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems
• Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services
• Continuously improve system performance and code quality

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, etc.)
• Experience working with modern frameworks and development tools
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of version control systems (Git)
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Prior experience working in a remote or distributed team
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or containerization
