Software Developer at OVERWOOD

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding.
• Develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures.
• Oversee onboarding processes and ensure a smooth integration of new hires.
• Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
• Facilitate effective communication between management and employees.
• Manage payroll computation and salary schedule.
• Organize and oversee quarterly or annual performance reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience in back-end development, with expertise in languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or .NET.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Solid understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (like HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for seamless integration.
• Strong knowledge of database management and architecture.
• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
• Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git)
• Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
• Attention to detail
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
