    Social Media Manager

    Job Summary

    Residency Hotel is seeking a creative, results-driven, and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing the hotel\'s social media presence, crafting compelling content, driving audience engagement, and converting online visibility into measurable bookings and brand loyalty.

    The successful candidate must have a strong grasp of Nigerian social media trends, platform algorithms, and digital consumer behaviour within the hospitality industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the hotel\'s brand identity and business goals.
    • Manage and grow the hotel\'s presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter).
    • Plan, create, and publish high-quality content including graphics, reels, captions, stories, and promotional campaigns.
    • Plan and manage paid social media advertising campaigns on Meta Ads and other relevant platforms to drive reach, engagement, and direct bookings.
    • Monitor, respond to, and manage online inquiries, comments, reviews, and direct messages in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to foster brand loyalty and enhance guest satisfaction.
    • Track and analyze social media performance metrics and prepare weekly/monthly reports with actionable insights.
    • Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to promote hotel services, events, packages, and seasonal offers.
    • Stay up to date with platform trends, algorithm changes, competitor activity, and industry developments.
    • Support influencer partnerships, user-generated content campaigns, and brand collaborations where applicable.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2–4 years of proven experience in social media management, preferably within hospitality, hotels, restaurants, or lifestyle brands.
    • Strong hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite, content scheduling tools, and social analytics platforms.
    • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or CorelDRAW is an added advantage.
    • Video content creation and basic video editing skills will be highly preferred.
    • Excellent copywriting, communication, and storytelling skills.
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into strategy.
    • Ability to manage multiple platforms simultaneously, work under pressure, and meet set targets.
    • Must be creative, proactive, self-motivated, and highly detail-oriented.
    • Deep understanding of the Nigerian social media landscape and online consumer behaviour is essential.
