Social Media Manager at Nairametrics

Job Summary:

As a Social Media Handler, you will be responsible for crafting engaging content, managing social media accounts, and implementing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure a consistent and compelling voice across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and publish engaging posts for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Select appealing images and videos to complement text and enhance visual appeal.
• Optimize social media posts (language, tone, and message) to align with target audience behaviors.
• Strategically grow and increase the followership base on all Nairametrics social media platforms.
• Respond promptly and accurately to questions and comments on social media pages.
• Update social media pages with compelling company news and updates.
• Coordinate with internal teams to create advertising posts, such as promotions for events, open roles, and product releases.
• Apply advertising techniques to boost brand awareness, such as organizing promotions and competitions.
• Track and report on social media insights, including traffic, engagement, shares, and conversion rates.
• Use analytics to refine strategies and enhance performance.
• Network with clients and industry professionals to build relationships and enhance the brand\'s presence.
• Collaborate with the Digital Media Lead and other teams for alignment and consistency.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Digital Media Lead.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Ability to analyse metrics and create performance reports.
• Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging content.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.
