As a Social Media / Content Developer, you will be responsible for developing, curating, and managing content across all social media platforms to enhance the brand's online presence.
You will also create engaging content that resonates with our target audience, drives traffic, and builds strong online communities.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute social media strategies that align with the company’s goals.
Create, edit, and publish engaging content (posts, images, videos, etc.) for social media platforms, blogs, and websites.
Manage daily social media activities, including content scheduling, posting, and audience engagement.
Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools to optimize content and strategy.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that supports campaigns and drives brand awareness.
Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and platform algorithms to ensure content remains effective.
Engage with online communities, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Assist in the creation of email newsletters, infographics, and other digital marketing content.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in social media management, content development, or digital marketing.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and their best practices.
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
Knowledge of SEO, web traffic metrics, and social media analytics.
Creative mindset with the ability to adapt to changing trends.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results under minimal supervision.
