Job Summary

• We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Content Writer / Creator to join our team. 
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging content across all our social media platforms to promote our beauty and hair services, engage our community, and elevate our brand presence online.
• This role requires a blend of writing, visual storytelling, and social media management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit compelling content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTokand YouTube.
• Create and manage a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal trends.
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to conceptualize and produce engaging photo, video, and written content.
• Stay updated on beauty trends, social media algorithms, and content formats to keep the brand relevant and competitive.
• Monitor audience engagement and feedback to optimize content strategy.
• Track performance metrics and provide reports and recommendations for content improvement.
• Write creative captions, product/service descriptions, and promotional copy in line with the Onyx Beauty Hub brand voice.
• Attend events, product shoots, or salon sessions to gather real-time content when required.
• Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and brand aesthetics across all platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a social media content writer/creator or similar role.
• Strong portfolio of writing and visual content (especially in the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle space).
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar.
• Solid understanding of social media trends, best practices, and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics).
• Creative mindset with a strong eye for aesthetics, style, and beauty trends.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Photography and video editing experience.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and blog writing.
• Influencer outreach or community management experience.
