    SME/Retail Loan Officer

    Job Details

    Loan Application Processing:

    • Receive and review loan applications submitted by SME clients.
    • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to assess the creditworthiness of applicants.
    • Conduct risk assessments and make recommendations regarding loan approvals or rejections based on established criteria.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with SME clients, understanding their business needs and financial requirements.
    • Provide guidance and advice to clients on suitable loan products and financial solutions.
    • Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.

    Credit Underwriting:

    • Evaluate loan applications to determine the appropriate loan amount, interest rates, and repayment terms.
    • Assess the risk associated with each loan application and ensure compliance with lending policies and regulations.
    • Collaborate with credit risk management teams to mitigate potential risks and ensure the quality of the loan portfolio.

    Loan Documentation and Compliance:

    • Prepare and review loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Verify the authenticity of collateral and other security provided by borrowers.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures throughout the loan origination process.

    Portfolio Management:

    • Monitor the performance of existing loan portfolios, including repayment schedules and outstanding balances.
    • Identify and address any delinquencies or defaults, implementing appropriate remedial actions as necessary.
    • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of client accounts to identify opportunities for upselling or refinancing.
