Salary: ₦250,000 monthly

Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee dredging operations. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills to ensure all site activities meet quality, safety, and compliance standards. The Site Supervisor will serve as the main point of contact on-site, manage resources, ensure proper documentation, and provide regular progress reports to management.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the company's on-site representative, supervising dredging operations and tracking project execution.
• Manage necessary permits, ensure compliance with all regulations, and complete all required documentation.
• Enforce HSE standards, reporting unsafe practices as required.
• Coordinate with clients, sub-contractors, and internal teams to meet project requirements.
• Plan and monitor the use of labor, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure quality control and provide timely, accurate progress reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Collect and report data on dredger performance and utilization.
• Troubleshoot first-level issues on-site, ensuring equipment inspections, repairs, maintenance, and certifications are up-to-date.
• Monitor dredging equipment performance and suggest efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Civil, Mechanical, or Maritime Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience, preferably in a similar role.
• HSE certification.
• Proficiency in English, with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Competency in MS Office software.
• Knowledge of dredging and reclamation operations or marine construction.
