The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and efficient execution of lifting operations by implementing best practices, adhering to safety regulations, and minimizing risks associated with lifting activities.
Roles / Responsibilities
Supervision: Oversee personnel involved in lifting operations
Planning and Coordination of lifting operations
Equipment Management: Managing the maintenance, inspection, and operation of lifting equipment
Risk Assessment: Conducting risk assessments prior to lifting operations
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to lifting operations, including permits, inspection reports and incident records.
Safety Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and protocols related to lifting operations.
Qualifications/Experience
Candidates should possess either a B.Sc./HND in any science or engineering discipline
Evidence of certification as a Crane lift Supervisor. (LEEA, NPORS or its equivalent).
Experience as a Site Lifting Supervisor.
Good knowledge of BS7121 series.
Good knowledge of LOLER &PUWER regulations
Ability to prepare and interpret Lift Plans.
Good understand of method statement.
Good understanding sling angle/tension calculation
Knowledge of Microsoft office suite use is compulsory.
