We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Site Engineer to oversee and manage daily on-site construction activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role is critical to ensuring that all project activities are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all site activities and subcontractors.
Interpret and implement technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
Ensure compliance with project designs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct daily site inspections and generate progress reports.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Manage site resources including materials, equipment, and workforce.
Resolve technical issues on-site promptly and effectively.
Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards.
Provide regular updates to project leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements:
B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in site engineering or construction supervision.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar project management tools.
Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
Solid understanding of Nigerian building codes and construction best practices.
