Site Engineer (Civil Engineer) at Stresert Services Limited

Job Summary:

• Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly driven Site Engineer (Civil) to join the organization’s growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supervising on-site construction activities, ensuring quality standards, project timelines, and compliance with health and safety regulations. He/she will play a key role in project coordination, technical support, resource management, and communication with senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on-site to ensure alignment with project specifications and designs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site workers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and implement project plans and schedules.
• Ensure quality control standards are strictly adhered to at every stage of the construction process.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
• Coordinate and manage labor, materials, and equipment resources.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials usage, and project progress.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on project milestones, risks, and deviations.
• Identify and resolve any issues or delays in project execution promptly.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years’ hands-on experience in construction and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site layouts.
• Excellent project coordination, planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Good reporting skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering/project management tools is an added advantage.
