We’re looking for an experienced Shopify Website Manager to manage and maintain an existing Shopify store on a monthly retainer basis.
This role is not for building new Shopify websites from scratch. It is strictly for someone who understands how Shopify works behind the scenes and can keep a live store stable, optimized, and running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Ongoing management and maintenance of an existing Shopify store
Making front-end updates using Liquid, HTML, and CSS
Troubleshooting Shopify theme and layout issues
Managing and updating apps, settings, and integrations
Ensuring site stability, performance, and basic security best practices
Implementing design or layout changes when required
Coordinating with the business owner or agency on updates and fixes
Requirements
Proven experience managing live Shopify websites
Strong understanding of Shopify Liquid
Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS
Experience working with Shopify themes and theme customization
Familiarity with Shopify apps and third-party integrations
Able to work independently and deliver updates reliably
Nice to Have
Experience working with multiple Shopify stores
Familiarity with Shopify performance optimization
Experience working on retainer or ongoing support contracts
