Shift Manager Brewing at Champion Breweries

• The Shift Manager Brewing ensures the timely availability of the required amount of bright beer of the right quality at optimal cost in a safe and sustainable environment. Compliance to all CB Plc standards and ISO based management systems policies and strategic decisions of the company to achieve its key performance indicators and improve its overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Awareness and compliance to all Cg Plc policies and strategic decisions to achieve its key performance indicators and improve its overall performance compliance to the ISO management systems:
• Be aware and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements as it applies to your job role
• Adopt the use of TPM methodology in driving continual improvement and employ the process approach and risk-based thinking in the sustenance of all management systems in the brewery.
• Effectively drive cost reduction initiative to reduce cost of production
• Manage utilities operations to ensure the seamless running of production process.
• Executes departmental production plan to meet sales and distribution forecasts.
• Ensures that good product quality is maintained to retain customer and consumer base-
• Ensure that departmental organization has the continuous availability of sufficient motivated and well- trained personnel
• Documents departmental activities to guide management action.
• Ensures and enforces conditions for the health, welfare and safety of employees.
• Drive CVE/NPI initiatives in the brewing department
• Drive brewing process optimization and loss reduction.

Reporting Line

• The Shift Man.*r will report to the Brewirw & Utiüties Manager

Qualification

• Minimum Of HND or BSc in either Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering
• Applied Sciences, or related field of study
• a years brewing experience in a brewery or food and beverage industry in a similar role.
• FSMS/FSSC Lead auditor certification by a recognized certifying body
• A Diploma in Brewing from CIBD will be an added advantage
