Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sewing Machinist (Tailor) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating industrial sewing machines and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for creating, altering, and repairing garments and other fabric-based products to meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Garment Construction: Measure, cut, and sew fabric to create clothing and other textile products according to design specifications and patterns.
• Alterations and Repairs: Perform alterations and repairs on garments to ensure proper fit and finish.
• Machine Operation: Operate industrial sewing machines, including but not limited to, overlock, coverstitch, and single-needle machines.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects and ensure that they meet company quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a sewing machinist or tailor.

Skills:

• Proficiency in operating various types of industrial sewing machines.
• Strong understanding of garment construction and tailoring techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret sewing patterns.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
