Service Technicians (Lagos) at Mantrac Nigeria Ltd

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To assist in day-to-day repairs and nlaintenance work set aside by the Supervisor.
• Take instmction from the senior Engineer assigned with him.
• Cany out his duties without or with minimum supervision.
• Be requested to work after hours "hen required by the Supewisor_
• Be on time to work and that Company mles are adhered to _
• Be responsible for his own safety and those around him
• He is responsible for proper handling & security of the tools he uses.
• He is responsible for booking the time he spent on the various jobs he performed
• He will pelf01m other related jobs in the workshop as well as in the field when assigned by his supervisor.
• Be requested to relocated temporary/ hall time to other branches when required
• Follow up on his OTJ training by asking question and showing responsibility to learn.
• Removes and installs machine components/ assist in component repairs, following procedures laid down in the appropriate service manuals
• Perform all types of scheduled maintenance & PDL
• Uses appropriate literatures, reusability guidelines and manuals required for jobs he is assigned He is responsible for proper labelling and storage of disassembled component and pans _
• Makes sure that unused parts, if any are brought to the attention of his supervisor for him to return to store prior to work order close
• Always communicate with the Senior Engineer when idle ensuring that his time is frilly utilized

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Minimum technical school diploma from a recognized institute ofregular program or
• Graduate Engineer BSC Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum of three years' work experience on maintenance of earth moving machinery or similar in workshop or field.
• Knowledge: Should be capable of understanding all technical literatures and hydraulic graphic symbols.
• Skills: Good communication skills in spoken and written English, PC skills
