CloudPlexo is seeking a results-driven Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to lead our local and global SEO strategy enhancing visibility, traffic, and inbound lead generation for our Cloud and AI solutions across Africa and beyond. The ideal candidate combines deep SEO expertise with strong performance marketing and funnel optimization skills to ensure our website ranks for the right keywords in key markets (UK, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria) while effectively converting traffic into qualified leads and customers.
Responsibilities
Conduct keyword research, competitor, and content gap analysis for global and African markets.
Optimize website content, metadata, and technical SEO to improve search visibility and ranking.
Manage local SEO (Google Business Profiles, regional landing pages, and local backlinks).
Plan and execute quarterly SEO and link-building campaigns.
Collaborate with the content team to produce SEO-rich blogs and landing pages.
Monitor and report on performance metrics (keyword rankings, traffic, conversions).
Provide insights and recommendations to drive qualified inbound leads.
Requirements
3+ years of SEO experience, preferably in tech or B2B SaaS.
Proven success in developing and executing global and local SEO strategies.
Strong analytical, keyword research, and reporting skills.
Experience using SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Search Console).
Background in content optimization and performance marketing.
Familiarity with African and international markets (preferred).
Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
