We are seeking a skilled and passionate volunteer video editor to join our team.
As a video editor, you will play a crucial role in creating compelling visual content that communicates our mission and engages our audience.
You will work closely with our marketing or communications team to edit footage, craft narratives, and produce high-quality videos that effectively convey our message.
Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage into engaging videos that align with the organization's branding and goals.
Collaborate with the marketing or communications team to understand project requirements and objectives.
Ensure that video content is visually appealing, coherent, and effectively communicates the intended message.
Incorporate graphics, effects, and other elements to enhance video quality and storytelling.
Review and revise edited videos based on feedback from team members.
Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling.
Prior experience in video editing or related fields is preferred but not required.
