About the job

• Translate documents, reports, and other materials from Chinese to English and vice versa.
• Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, presentations, or virtual calls when required.
• Proofread and edit translated content for clarity, grammar, and cultural appropriateness.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure message accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and uphold translation quality standards.
• Support localization efforts for marketing, product, and user research materials.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chinese, Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or related field.
• Proven experience as a translator or interpreter (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
• Excellent command of both written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with technical, business, or research terminology is an added advantage.
• Proficiency with translation tools or software is a plus.

Preferred:

• Experience in a multinational or research-driven environment.
• Ability to manage multiple translation tasks and meet deadlines.
