As the Senior Trader, you will be responsible for executing trades across equities, fixed income, and money market instruments while driving revenue, managing risk, and providing market insights to support client portfolios and trading strategies.
Responsibilities
Execute trades across equities, fixed income, and money market instruments with accuracy and efficiency
Monitor market trends and provide actionable insights to support trading decisions and portfolio performance
Manage order flow and ensure best execution in line with market conditions and client mandates
Drive trading volumes and contribute to revenue growth and portfolio returns
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage trading risks effectively.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields
5 - 8 years trading experience within a stockbroking or asset management firm
Strong knowledge of Nigerian capital markets (NGX, FMDQ, equities, fixed income)
Professional certification such as CIS or SEC License is highly desirable
Proven ability to execute high-value trades and manage risk in a fast-paced environment.
