Minimum Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor's degree, HND or equivalent professional qualification in the laboratory discipline
• Appropriate professional registration or licence where applicable
• Relevant post-qualification experience commensurate with the cadre
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment, quality assurance, safety and standard operating procedures
• Ability to support teaching, research and practical laboratory activities
• Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

• Provide verifiable academic and professional credentials.
• Demonstrate competence in laboratory safety and equipment handling
• Be medically fit and capable of performing laboratory duties.
• Demonstrate good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Be willing to perform other duties assigned by the appropriate University authority
• Candidates with experience in universities, teaching hospitals, research institutes, medical laboratories and other recognized laboratory facilities will have an added advantage.

  Minimum Requirements

• Possession of a relevant Degree, HND or equivalent professional qualification in the relevant laboratory discipline.
• Appropriate professional registration/licence where applicable.
• Minimum of 12 years relevant post-qualification experience.
• Significant experience in laboratory administration, supervision and management.
• Ability to supervise technical staff and coordinate laboratory operations.
• Demonstrated competence in equipment management, quality control, laboratory safety and inventory management.
• Experience supporting undergraduate/postgraduate teaching and research.
• Good administrative and leadership skills.
