Senior Technician - L4 Analysis at d.light

Job Summary:

• The Technician (L4 Analysis) at d.light Solar is responsible for conducting in-depth diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of advanced solar energy products. This role focuses on identifying root causes of product failures, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Diagnostics & Repair:

• Perform comprehensive Level 4 analyses on returned or failed solar products, including solar panels, batteries, inverters, and charge controllers.
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment to diagnose complex issues at the component level.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA):

• Investigate failure modes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Document findings and collaborate with the engineering team to drive product improvements.

Process Improvement:

• Provide feedback to the manufacturing and design teams based on analysis outcomes.
• Recommend enhancements to testing procedures and quality assurance protocols.

Training & Mentorship:

• Mentor junior technicians and provide training on advanced diagnostic techniques.
• Share best practices and contribute to the development of technical documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

• Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing solar energy products or similar electronic devices.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multi meters, and soldering equipment.

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications in solar technology or electronics repair are advantageous.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
