Senior Systems Analyst at Primeguage Solutions Limited

• As part of the Strategic Growth Team, the Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for facilitating the delivery of assigned projects on time within budget and scope under the Primegauge Solutions umbrella.
• You willbe required to understand the various business processes and demonstrate analytical skills.
• You will work closely across multiple departments and working groups to solve issues and implement process changes with the end goal to make our team better.
• Using high levels of qualitative aptitude, you will research, develop, communicate, and implement new products, programs, processes and projects across various project environments.
• He/she will facilitate the definition of business requirements and report them back to stakeholders.
• The typical project scope for this role includes executive work associated with an overhaul of existing workflow processes inclusive of process flow documentation, data analysis, systems architecture, implementation, deployment and customization of new or existing businesses, development of reporting tools as well as training of staffs and stakeholders on new policies and procedures.
• The analyst should have strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse the solutions and systems to improve overall performance, reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

In addition to the above, the analyst will help create internal OKRs and SLAs that hold our teams to ambitious performance standards. Other responsibilities would include;

• Workas a part of a dynamic team to deliver winning products. Participate in business applications analysis with Business Analysts. Analyse relevant business processes as documented by Business Analysts
• Designing, developing, and implementing APIs and application modules in support of the OSS/BSS platform and related systems. Analysing OSS/BSS enhancement requests.
• Review and approve systems, applications, and security specifications and standards for application networks and software. Preparing test plans and performing system acceptance testing
• Analysing and troubleshooting issues as part of application support, application software configuration, enhancement and adaptation
• Work with relevant stakeholders including OEMsto build market-driven and high-quality products or solutions that ensure that the company stays competitive. Gathering and evaluating user feedback.
• Ideate and drive the digitization and automation plan of the organization, including our transformation as a technology company
• Creating work plans developing schedules, and developing time and cost estimates for projects. Making recommendations and presenting business advantages for technology initiatives and improvements.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that there are no breaches or failures across platforms and business systems and that appropriate disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested for unforeseen and unexpected events that may impact business continuity.
• Mapping and development of infrastructural requirements. Creating all System Definition Model (SDM) technical documents: Functional Specs, Design docs, etc.
• Develop and maintain an overall framework of IT policies, standards and strategies that will empower businesses and people to deliver on their commitments to the strategy and budgets.
• Writing well-designed, testable and efficient code, analysing data and developing reports using T-SQL.
• Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.Troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance.
• Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
• Develop,maintain and manage technology policies, standards and strategies that will empower the business and people to deliver on their commitments. Deliver team periodic aggregate report.
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 4 - 5 years experience in a Systems Analyst/Software engineering role.
• Familiar with Android OS and LINUX (Redhat, UBUNTU) operating systems
• Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing.
• Experience with financial services web-based environment.
• Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
• Strong knowledge of Python, Perl, PHP, Ruby on Rails and Java.
• Solid experience in writing SQL queries.
• Basic knowledge in generating process documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills

Additional or Preferred Qualification:

• Master's Degree in a related field.
