Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural design, analysis, and supervision of construction projects.
• The ideal candidate must be a Registered Structural Engineer with a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience.
• The role requires strong technical expertise in structural systems, design standards, and on-site execution support to ensure safety, durability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports.
• Review and approve structural designs and shop drawings.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure structural works comply with approved designs and standards.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site teams.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers, and MEP engineers.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Identify and resolve structural design challenges.
• Review contractor methodologies and materials for structural integrity.
• Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• Registered Structural Engineer (COREN registration required).
• Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience in structural engineering.
• Strong experience in reinforced concrete and steel structural design.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of Nigerian and international structural design codes.
• Experience in site supervision and quality control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and technical reporting skills.
