Description of Role

The ideal candidate oversees the stocktaking, inflow and outflow of items, materials, machinery, and resources for construction sites. He/She will be responsible for the record, report and inventory of construction site materials and provide information on the usage.

JOB DESCRIPTION OF A SENIOR STOREKEEPER

• Supply all the required construction items and materials
• Store and arrange items, materials, and machinery in the right place
• Ensure supplies are issued to the correct person on time
• Following correct and strict procedure to material delivery and acceptance
• Proper and correct administration/documentation
• Prompt notification and report to the head of department in case of shortage, or any other issues.
• Prompt communication and replenishment requests
• Keep the stores tidy and arranged

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Computer-literacy
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel 
• Ability to pay attention to details

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION OF THE SENIOR STOREKEEPER

• Minimum 5 years work experience in a relevant field
• National Diploma or First degree
• Basic technical knowledge
• must reside on the Island (Lekki/Ajah/Lakowe)
