The Senior Specialty Trainer– CMD/IEDD will be the Team Lead’s principal trainer and mentor for Conventional Munitions Disposal (CMD) and Improvised Explosive Device Defeat (IEDD) training and capacity building task order requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum certification as International Mine Action Service (IMAS) EOD Level 3 or other internationally recognized equivalent. [EOD certification and competency standards are spelled out in IMAS 9.30.]
Minimum of eleven (11) years U.S. or NATO military explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) occupational specialty at the O-5 level.
Experience as senior trainer to a foreign security partner with directly related experience in capacity building.
Recent experience (EOD unit) while deployed to a combat, peacekeeping, or other contingency operation.
Demonstrated experience conducting EOD planning and operations in austere environments.
