Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Security Officer to oversee and coordinate all security operations at our nutrition manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding company assets, employees, products, and visitors while ensuring strict compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily security operations within the facility.
• Lead, train, and monitor security personnel to ensure high performance and discipline.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability audits of the premises.
• Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm systems.
• Investigate security breaches, theft, incidents, and suspicious activities; prepare detailed reports.
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders when necessary.
• Ensure proper access control for staff, contractors, and visitors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in security operations, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Proven experience in supervising security teams.
• Strong knowledge of physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms).
• Good understanding of risk assessment and incident investigation procedures.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Minimum qualification: HND/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Security Management, Criminology, or related field is an advantage).
• Professional security certifications are an added advantage.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/production facility environment
• May require shift work, weekends, and public holidays
• Must be physically fit and capable of handling emergency situations
