Senior Scrum Master at Leadway Assurance Company

Role Overview

• We are a leading insurance organization developing next-generation line of business applications for General, Life and Health Insurance.
• As a Senior Scrum Master, you will facilitate
• Agile ceremonies for one or more scrum teams building a multi-tenant insurance SaaS platform while also handling other project management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrum Facilitation: Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, removing impediments to team progress.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Manage dependencies across multiple teams (Backend, DevOps, QA, Data, AI/ML).
• Project Management Duties: coordinate resources and maintain project documentation.  Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate sprint outcomes and next steps to the Lead Technical Architect and other senior stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Coach teams on Agile best practices, promoting transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM or PSM) preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

• 5+ years of Scrum Master/Agile coaching experience on large-scale SaaS/enterprise projects.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets and stakeholder expectations.

• Ability to juggle multiple sprint teams and coordinate on-site activities.
• Comfortable enforcing governance and standards (IFRS 17, NDPR) in sprint deliverables.
