Senior Sales Executive at Edves Digital Education

Role Summary

• We’re looking for a Senior Sales Executive to help us scale our impact and drive revenue growth across Africa in Basic, Secondary and Tertiary Education. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships with schools and institutions, understanding their needs, and helping them see how Edves can solve real challenges in teaching, learning, and school management.
• You’ll be a key player in achieving our goal of $1.5 million in annual SaaS subscriptions, working closely with the Sales Director and a talented team spread across multiple African countries.

What You’ll Do

• Own and manage the important and premium pipeline of private and public schools, from first contact to closing the deal
• Drive the adoption of Edves across target markets to meet individual and collective sales targets
• Understand the needs of school administrators, teachers, and government stakeholders and tailor Edves’ value proposition to each
• Provide product demonstrations and proposals that highlight Edves’ impact on learning outcomes and school efficiency
• Collaborate with the Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure alignment and an excellent customer experience
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer feedback to inform strategy and execution
• Maintain detailed CRM records and report regularly on performance metrics

What You Bring

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the EdTech, SaaS, or Education sector
• Strong consultative selling skills and ability to build trust with school decision-makers
• Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Passion for education and digital transformation in Africa
• Ability to manage complex deals and long sales cycles with resilience and strategic thinking
• Strong organisation and CRM (e.g. HubSpot or Salesforce) skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field

Bonus Points if You Have

• Experience selling EdTech platforms, learning management systems, or digital curriculum tools
• Familiarity with African school systems and procurement processes
• Exposure to school aggregators or education marketplaces
• Understanding funnel optimisation, or AI-based selling tools
