Senior Quality Assurance Quality / Control Engineer at Trucrete Solutions Limited

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the contents of the project Quality plan, Inspection and Test plans, QA and QC procedures, and inspection records are implemented.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the scope of works, project specifications and drawings
• Maintain quality records such as request for inspection, inspection/audit reports, QAQC checklists, equipment calibrations plan, issues log, rework schedule, risk register, non-conformance/corrective & preventive action reports.
• Conduct Quality audits of TSL projects as instructed by the TSL Quality Manager.
• Record and report immediately all and any deviation from the scope of works, project specifications and drawings
• Work closely with the TSL QAQC Laboratory team and ensure relevant test on projects align with TSL laboratory test procedure, project specific and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all equipment used in the test and measurement are within calibration and have all the required calibration certificates.
• Assisting in the investigation of non-conformances and making recommendations for corrective action.
• Approve incoming materials conformity to specifications, conducting visual and measurement test, and rejecting/returning of non-conforming materials.
• Assisting TSL QAQC Manager in the development and training of QAQC personnel.
• Attend QA/QC meetings and record minutes and actions.
• Ensure TSL QAQC Policy and Plan are implemented on projects.
• Check and report the discrepancies found on approved drawing to Quality Manager for modifications.
• Attend project site meetings and any other regular meeting as defined in the QA system.
• Identify, document and communicate quality related issues and possible quality risks in all operations and third-party contractors to QAQC manager.
• Work closely with and provide assistance to the project team members.
• Responsible for the implementation of inspections and test plans on projects.
• Report weekly activities to the QAQC Manager.
• Coordinate, guide and supervise QAQC Engineers on assigned project.
• Ensure Periodic performance Evaluation of third-party contractor/vendor on projects.
• Participate in punch list inspection/clearing for handover.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, attending seminars, watching industry videos etc.
• Any other duty as assigned by the QAQC manager.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, or Construction Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in QA/QC roles within the construction or infrastructure industry.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality excellence.
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials, standards, and testing procedures.
• Excellent understanding of quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and project specifications.
• Proven experience in document control, quality reporting, and audit procedures.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
