Senior QA/QC Engineer at Trucrete Solutions Limited

Trucrete Solutions Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to join our growing construction team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards are upheld across all project phases, from planning through to execution and delivery.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in quality assurance and quality control within large-scale construction projects, particularly in civil works, roads, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures.
• Oversee inspection and testing of materials, workmanship, and construction processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and contractors to address quality-related issues.
• Lead site audits and provide technical guidance to project teams on quality matters.
• Manage and review documentation such as Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and NCRs.
• Track and report quality metrics, progress, and areas of concern to senior management.
• Ensure all quality records are properly maintained and accessible for audits.
• Train site staff on quality procedures and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Methodological & Material Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of solid QA/QC experience in the construction industry.
• Proven expertise in roadworks, bridges, heavy civil infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of international QA/QC standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Experience in preparing and reviewing technical documentation and quality reports.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC software tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).
• Membership of a recognized engineering or quality professional body.
• Experience working with government or multinational clients is an added advantage.
